North Polk Comet Kids Preschool and Pre-kindergarten Registration
January 16 – March 9, 2012

The North Polk Comet Kids Preschool and Pre-kindergarten programs are fully integrated quality preschool program settings. In preparation for the 2012-2013 school year the North Polk District is taking registrations for openings in the 3-year-old preschool (West Elementary only) and 4-year-old pre-kindergarten programs. Registration will begin on January 16, 2012. Registrations must be received or postmarked on or before March 9, 2012 to be considered for the program. Receipt of the registration does not guarantee placement in a program. If the number of available openings exceeds the class size, a lottery system will be used. Priority for placement will be given to students residing within the North Polk School District.

At this time, state funding for the 4-year-old program has not yet been determined for next year. Should funding no longer be available to the district, the district reserves the right to charge tuition and modify programs offered.

Proof of residency form needs to be completed.

For 3-year-old families: You may fill out the financial information (Early Childhood Iowa Application) if you wish to be considered for tuition assistance. Upon qualification, there may also be some additional resources available to you.
