Dana and her husband Chip have been residents of Polk City for 20 years. A retired media assistant from the West Des Moines Public Schools, Dana is a member of the Polk City Community Library Board and the Polk City Comprehensive Planning Committee. She and her husband, who recently retired from the Iowa National Guard, have two grown sons and three grandchildren. Their younger son, Chris, graduated from North Polk Schools in 1991.
