Robert Miller is the Pres. & CEO Polk County Bank, a 103 year old family owned bank with offices in Johnston, Polk City & Urbandale. He have been with the bank since 1972. Bob & his wife Mary live in Polk City and have 2 grown children & 4 grandchildren. Bob is a 1966 graduate of NPHS and a 1970 Graduate of Drake University. Bob and Mary were named Johnston Business People of the Year in 2000.
Bob’s active leadership and community involvement includes Polk City Chamber of Commerce, Polk City Development Corporation, North Polk School Foundation, Boy Scouts, Kiwanis, Johnston Chamber, JEDCO, Greater Des Moines Partnership, St. John's Lutheran Church Foundation, Iowa Bankers Association, Iowa Independent Bankers , Iowa Head Injury Association, along with numerous committees and task forces throughout the metro area.
