About the North
Polk School Foundation….
The Foundation is an independent non-profit
organization, the activities are administered by a Board
of Directors elected from North Polk graduates, North
Polk residents and other interested individuals. Also,
the Superintendent of Schools is a member of the Board
to ensure grants align with district goals.
Mission:
To enhance educational opportunities for
students. By offering support, the Foundation
is working to insure high quality education in the North
Polk Community School District.
The North Polk Community School
District was formed in the 1950s. It brought together
communities in northern Polk County and formed the
consolidated school district that we know today. Since
then graduates have pursued higher education and
careers in a vast number of fields.
North Polk has established
a reputation for quality education. As Board members
of the Foundation, we believe that with your help
we can do even better. North Polk’s high
quality of education can be supported and continued
into the future.
